Community Guidelines

The Legacy Social Community Guidelines explain expectations for football discussion, user conduct, content standards, reporting, moderation, account safety, platform integrity, digital purchases, trades, prediction features, and league-fee boundaries.

The goal is to support expressive football conversations, fantasy community features, rivalry, debate, and reasonable trash talk while reducing harassment, abuse, spam, scams, impersonation, doxxing, fraud, threats, and unsafe behavior.

Where these guidelines apply

These rules apply across Legacy Social, including rooms, posts, comments, polls, messages, profiles, league pages, public league summaries, trade listings, fantasy rankings, trivia or prediction names, uploaded images, support requests, and other user-submitted content.

Private or account-only areas still need to follow the same standards. Content does not become allowed simply because it appears in a smaller league space, direct message, trade flow, or profile area.

Football debate and expression

Legacy Social should feel open enough for real football opinions. Debate, criticism, jokes, rivalry, disagreement, and sports trash talk are allowed when they stay within reasonable bounds.

Users should be able to argue about players, rankings, trades, fantasy decisions, predictions, and NFL teams without feeling like every disagreement will be moderated. At the same time, free discussion does not mean anything goes.

Content may cross the line when it becomes targeted abuse, threats, discrimination, doxxing, stalking, sexual exploitation, spam, scams, or repeated harassment.

Content standards

Members should keep posts, comments, polls, rooms, messages, profiles, league pages, trade listings, and uploaded images connected to the intended topic and avoid spam, scams, harassment, hateful conduct, threats, impersonation, and attempts to exploit other users.

Legacy Social does not allow hate, direct threats, encouragement of violence, intimidation, harassment, bullying, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, grooming behavior, scams, account theft attempts, or deceptive conduct.

Legacy Social is intended for adult users and is not directed to children under 13. If Legacy Social learns that content or an account involves a child under 13, the platform may restrict access, remove information, close the account, or take other steps described in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Platform integrity, purchases, and trades

Users may not attempt to bypass restrictions, exploit bugs, scrape private data, gain unauthorized access, manipulate engagement, or interfere with how the platform works.

Legacy Bucks, digital items, paid features, gifts, tips, Trade Block listings, and other platform credit or inventory systems must be used honestly and in line with platform rules.

Abuse involving refunds, chargebacks, fraudulent purchases, manipulated trades, reward exploitation, fake activity, or attempts to exploit platform systems may result in content removal, account action, or reversal of platform value tied to abuse or fraud.

Prediction, gambling, and league-fee boundaries

Football predictions, spreads, Pick 55, fantasy discussion, rankings, and league-fee tracking may appear on Legacy Social as entertainment, recordkeeping, commissioner organization, or fantasy football context.

Users may not use Legacy Social to run paid betting pools, solicit wagers, sell picks as guaranteed outcomes, operate paid prediction contests, or ask Legacy Social to hold or distribute funds based on sports outcomes.

A fantasy league fees tracker should be used as a recordkeeping or league-management tool, not as a sportsbook, gambling operator, escrow service, or paid prediction product.

Moderation and reporting

Users can report harmful behavior, suspicious content, spam, fraud, or policy concerns through available support and reporting paths. Current report reasons may include harassment or abuse, hate or discriminatory content, spam or scams, explicit or inappropriate content, threats or safety concerns, misinformation or impersonation, and other issues.

Reports are visible to Legacy Social admins for review. Legacy Social may review reported content, look at report history and context, update report status, send resolution feedback, warn users, remove content, restrict features, temporarily suspend accounts, permanently ban accounts, close accounts where appropriate, or reverse trades, rewards, or platform value tied to abuse or fraud.

False reporting, weaponized reporting, or bad-faith moderation abuse is not allowed. Moderation decisions may consider the severity of the behavior, report history, prior actions, context, user safety, platform integrity, and whether the conduct appears accidental, reckless, or intentional.
