Guide to Cards, Packs, Mascots, and Auras

How card packs, mascots, auras, rarity tiers, locker rooms, trading, gifting, and profile customization fit together.

What Mascots and Auras are

Mascots and Auras are platform-only items used to customize a Legacy Social profile. A Mascot acts like a profile character, while an Aura creates the backdrop or visual energy around that character.

These items are platform-only digital items that are usable inside Legacy Social.

How card packs work

Card packs are digital item bundle experiences. A bundle can include eligible platform-only items depending on its type, rarity rules, availability, and reward path.

Each pack can have its own probability rules. When pack details are shown in the app, members should review them before opening.

Understanding rarity tiers

Rarity tiers help members understand how common or special a platform item is. A common item may be easy to find and useful for everyday profile style, while a rarer item may feel more collectible or be harder to replace.

Rarity does not have to decide every choice. A member might prefer a common Mascot because it matches their personality, or an uncommon Aura because it fits the look they want on their profile. The collection system is meant to support identity as much as scarcity.

How the Locker Room fits in

The Locker Room is the home for owned platform items. It gives members a place to review what they have collected, see what can be equipped, and understand which items are available for profile customization.

As a collection grows, the Locker Room becomes more than an inventory list. It becomes a record of rewards, purchases, promotions, trades, gifts, and platform moments tied to a member's Legacy Social history.

Setting your active Mascot and Aura

  • Open your profile or Locker Room.
  • Review the Mascots and Auras you own.
  • Choose the item you want to feature.
  • Set it as your active Mascot or active Aura when the item is eligible.

Trading, gifting, and duplicate cards

When supported for a specific item, platform-only items may be traded, listed on the Trade Block, gifted to another user, or quick sold back to the platform for Legacy Bucks.

Available actions depend on item eligibility, account state, current platform rules, and the flows shown in the app.

Why platform items are not cash assets

Cards, packs, Mascots, Auras, badges, and related items are built for in-platform use. They support profile identity, collection goals, trading features, gifting, and visual personalization inside Legacy Social.

They do not represent ownership of money, investments, physical goods, or an outside payment claim. That distinction helps keep platform items focused on entertainment, identity, and community features.

How duplicates can still matter

Duplicates are not always useless. Depending on current platform rules, a duplicate item may be eligible for trade, gifting, quick sale, or another supported collection action.

That creates choices for collectors. A member might keep a duplicate for a future trade, move it to a friend, or convert it through an available in-platform path when the item supports that action.

Collecting for style vs completion

Some members collect because they want a specific profile look. Others enjoy completing sets, finding rare items, or building trade value inside the platform. Both approaches can make sense.

A good collection system should support personal style and long-term goals at the same time. Mascots, Auras, badges, and cards give members different ways to make their profile feel like their own.

How item sources affect a collection

A collection can grow from many sources: store purchases, rewards, promotions, gifts, trades, quick-sale decisions, badge paths, and pack openings. Knowing where an item came from can make the item feel more meaningful.

For example, an Aura earned through a milestone may carry a different story than an Aura found in a pack. Both can be useful, but the source gives the collection more personality and helps members remember how their profile style developed.
