Legacy Social
Guide to Badges
How Legacy Social badges work, where they appear, how rarity matters, and how members can collect or equip them.
What badges are
Badges are profile collectibles and visual markers on Legacy Social. They help members personalize their identity, show platform history, and display achievements or collectibles in a compact way.
Badges are separate from Mascots and Auras. Mascots and Auras shape a member's larger profile look, while badges are smaller identity markers that can represent ownership, activity, rarity, rewards, or status.
How badges can be earned or collected
Badges may come from several platform paths, including account age, Scout Tier progress, trophies, milestones, store purchases, badge machine rolls, promotions, or special events when those paths are active.
Availability can vary. Some badges may be direct purchases, some may be random badge machine rewards, and others may only be tied to achievements or limited-time promotions.
Badge rarity
Badges can have rarity levels. Rarity helps communicate how common or special a badge is, and it can affect how a badge is priced, displayed, or included in store and badge machine experiences.
A rarer badge is not automatically better for every member. Some members may prefer a badge because it matches their profile style, favorite team identity, or personal Legacy Social history.
Equipping badges
When a member owns an eligible badge, they can use it as part of their profile identity where badge display is supported. The active badge slot is meant to highlight the badge a member wants others to see first.
Equipping a badge does not remove it from the member's collection. It simply changes what is featured publicly in the supported profile area.
